La Spaghetta Old Grimaud

La Spaghetta is a small restaurant in the heart of Old Grimaud which specializes in Pasta dishes. The variety is amazing as is the quality and service. It has a small outside terrace and is run by a family who live in Grimaud. The quality of the dishes is at least as good as any Italian restaurant one would find in the UK but at half the price.
We went there last night with my son and his family as it was the last night of their holiday. The temperature was great as it had cooled down after a very hot day. The first thing the owner did was to bring our dog water which is always appreciated and is often the case in many French restaurants.
My wife had a beautiful pasta dish with wild mushroom sauce and prawns and I had a T-Bone steak which came with pasta in a tomato sauce, which was a refreshing change from chips!
For desert we had an assortment of dishes which included, ice cream, chocolate gateaux, and a plate of fresh strawberries and raspberries.
All in all an excellent meal, well presented, at good prices.
The wine was red Chianti and my wife tells me it was excellent.
