La Petite Maison, in Cogolin, is a small restaurant that we visit mainly in winter, though it does have an open terrace at the back for summer dining. In summer we prefer to eat at the beach so that our dog can play instead of being stuck under the table.
The restaurant has a lovely log fire and the staff are always welcoming. The food is typical of the region but is of good quality and not too expensive.
The atmosphere is very nice and it is nearly always buzzing.
When we visited last week it was with two other couples and I have to say that the service was good and we had a great evening.
Some friends have complained of very slow service here but, to date, this has not been my experience.
A restaurant I would recommend.
