Early Morning in the Gulf of St Tropez

This morning I went down to the beach early, as dogs are not allowed on after 8 am in the summer. At present we have My friend Mark's dog Lady staying with us so off I went with the pair.

On arriving I looked up the Gulf and in the mist could see about 40 Super Yachts moored off St Tropez. Normally the gulf is empty but in mid summer it is the place to be for the very wealthy.

More amazingly was the sight of two hot air balloons over the Gulf. One was very low over the Marine de Cogolin marina and the other a few hundred feet above. They came together and I know that the blue one belongs to a guy in Grimaud, our village, who also has a Bugatti Veyron.

I would love to know who he is as it is my wife's dream to go up in a hot air balloon!!
