L'Emeraude

Last Sunday we went to help my mother in law, in Cavalaire, with her TV and at the same time went out to lunch with her and her partner Harold to the port to seek lunch.

Our normal favourite, THe Comptoir, was closed for the winter and many other restaurants were also closed.

We were lucky enough to find a seafood restaurant open on its final day of the season. They had a menue at €35 which looked very inviting.

Three of us had the home made fois gras shown above and another the excellent fish soup.

After that 3 had Steak Rossini and I had Sea food linguini.

This was followed by amazing deserts.

A great Sunday lunch, if not roast beef as in UK.
