IL Mandolino

Cavalaire sur Mere is just West of St Tropez and is a lovely modern sea side resort, complete with long beaches, a marina surrounded by restaurants and bars and a hive of activities during the summer months with regular concerts and street entertainment.
My parents in law have an apartment in the centre so we visit often.
The town is alive in both summer and winter and in the centre are boule courts and dancing fountains. Here you will find a plethora of good shops and several good delicatessens.
The restaurant we visited this week was the Mandolino. This is an Italian restaurant on the port and has a large terrace and a very varied menu, but specializes in pasta and pizzas.
Service is always good and the food is delicious and of course they have great ice creams.

The prices are good with a large pasta dish for €12 and reasonable prices. Ideal for families.
