Snow in The Golfe of St Tropez

It is a rare sight to see snow falling in our garden. One thinks of the garden being full of children and grandchildren running around in their swimwear and jumping in and out of the pool, but all seems so different when it snows. The snow lasted about an hour and was gone in a few hours more.
The first time that I saw snow in the region was about 6 years ago when I took my future wife for lunch in St Tropez, the second time was about 3 years ago and now we have it again. Looks like once every 3 years!!
The winter has been cold this year but that is nothing unusual as it often goes down to freezing with a mid day temperature of around 8c. Of course the sky is blue.
So you see it is not always sunbathing weather on the Cote D'Azur though it is great and much better than in the UK.
