The Amiral

The Amiral is a restaurant we often visit for its position and good choice of food. If you live in the region one becomes fairly fed up with menus that are all the same. This seems to be the blight of the area, as it would be difficult to recognise exactly which restaurant you are in as the menus have the same predictable dishes!
The Amiral is different both in its choice but also in its quality. Its Lobster starter is memorable, not just in the taste of its sauce, but also in its presentation. This goes through all the choices on the menu.
All this does not come cheap but it is fair value for the quality and its position on the quay in St Maxime.
For those wanting a cheaper meal they have their Brasserie at the front of the restaurant.
Very recommended.
