One of the pleasures of living in the region is eating with friends either at their home or in ours. This weekend we have two invites for lunch and we had the first yesterday. We ate on the roof terrace of an old village house in our nearest market town, Cogolin.
The weather was truly amazing and we got a good tan, however I have to say I had a new experience in that we were served goat for the main course. This was not dissimilar to lamb in taste however the fat was not at all greasy and it was delicious.
