From the 6th to the 9th of May we will be hosting in the area the Harley Davidson Euro Festival. This is based at The Prairies de la mere next to Port Grimaud. This camp site will have all the bikers from across Europe descending on it with displays of bikes and bands playing until the early hours. The event is topped by a parade of all the bikes around the area and a display of the bikes in the beautiful old village of Grimaud
The number of customized bikes is truly amazing and the age of the riders is much older than one might expect.
Of course there are exhibitors and demonstrations going on and dedicated areas for music on the beach and customizers will exhibit their wares. Demo rides are also available for anybody thinking of buying a new bike.
Normally the thought of a load of noisy motorbikes would make me cringe as the parade of thousands of bikes goes past my front door; however I stand outside my house to watch, in awe, at the beautifully customized bikes and their characterful riders. Not to be missed if you are in the area.
