The Pack has increased!

Until recently Mark & I have met regularly for coffee together followed by a walk on the beach, with much throwing of pieces of wood for the dogs to retrieve, with our dogs Micha and Lady. They are good pals and are at ease with each other despite my dog, Micha, being normally disinterested in other dogs!
Things have changed! Mark's mother in law recently died and they have inherited a poodle of 12 years called Ooanna ( not sure of spelling!). This dog was the permenant companion of Mark's mother in law and was considered, by the family, as really spoilt.
Imagine my surprise when I met up with Mark, who is a big guy, to find a poodle sitting on his knee!
After coffee off we went for a walk by the sea and believe it or not this shaking poodle became one of the pack! Full of confidence and running alongside the other dogs! Amazing and joyous to see it SO happy and the other dogs just accepting her.
I know this will be a delight to Michelle, Mark's wife, as she is really attached to the poodle and am sure had some misgivings about if it would mourn her mum's death or just get on with life.
