The Gruppi

The Gruppi is situated on the front at St Maxime. It is jammed between ice cream parlours, bars and shops but is actually a high quality fish restaurant.
It is very smart inside and has a great ambiance. It is renowned for its fish and on the occasion of our visit, with guests, the fish served was superb.
There is a choice of A La Carte or fixed menus at €25 or €35 and there was a wide variety of both fish and meat.
The Sole was terrific and arrived at the table filleted after the whole fish was presented at the table. The steaks were great as were the sauces and as a nice touch small deserts were presented free of charge after the meal.
A restaurant that I would recommend, not cheap but good food.
