Jaguar XJ

Just in case anyone is wondering where Mark’s Blogs have gone, I thought I should give an explanation.
At present Mark, besides giving Golf lessons is very busy at renovating his house and in updating his Golf Website ( http://www.markwallacegolf.com ) so in the meanwhile you will have to put up with me ( Mr.L.)!!
After coffee with Mark the other day I went over to Puget Sur Argens to the Jaguar dealers to get a preview of the new Jaguar XJ. What an amazing car, Jaguar should have a winner in this.
Over the weekend there was a Porsche rally and exhibition in St Tropez and the roads were full of screaming Porsches trying to pretend they were in track races! Very noisy indeed.
The weather is starting to cool, however it remains at around 22c at mid day and is very pleasant.
The autumn is arriving, the caravan sites are nearly empty, the roads are clear and most of the restaurants which depend on the tourist trade are closing. Peace reigns and the Chestnut season starts with the Chestnut Fete at La Garde Freinet this weekend.
We now have time to catch up with friends who, like us, have been too busy with guests to get together.
