The Hotel L’Estirado des Andrets was the location for our latest VIAC gourmet club lunch. VIAC is a luncheon club for Ex Pats and the Gourmet group is restricted to about 40 people and lunches in great restaurants once a month, except for July and August.
VIAC is a great way for new arrivals in the area to meet like minded English speakers in the region and it includes people of many nationalities.
The lunch was served on a beautiful terrace and the food was, as normal, excellent. I started with pan fried Fois Gras on a bed of sweet bread and with a delicious sauce. My main course was St Jacques ( Scallops) with tagiatelli and a light sauce. My desert was a Mango mousse with red fruits, delicious!!
